We believe in marriage and we love weddings! If you are planning a marriage and are thinking of having your wedding in church, we would love to be a part of your plans and your special day.

You’re welcome to marry in the Church of England whatever your beliefs, whether or not you are christened and regardless of whether you go to church or not. It’s your church, and we welcome you!

More than a quarter of all marriages in England take place in the traditional setting of a Church of England church. Parliament recently changed the rules about which churches you can get married in, giving you a lot more options. Marrying in church has never been easier!
