Services in Church

Posted on:

Although many restrictions remain lifted, the recent updates in guidance now include mandatory mask wearing in places of worship (unless exempt), and further guidance is still in place about how to stay as safe as possible in places of worship. This includes physically distancing and a minimal amount of singing.

We are currently holding a limited number of services in our church buildings. (A current list of planned service through to the end of February is further down the page)

Each Sunday at 9.30 am, an in-person communion service is held in one of our church buildings. For the most up to date information please see our Facebook page or send an email to hello@cinderford-churches.org.uk.

There will also be an 11.00 am service each week at St Stephen’s, Cinderford that will be livestreamed to our YouTube Channel and Facebook page.

There is no need to book to attend these services. Everyone is asked to wear a mask while in the church building as per the updated government regulations (unless exempt) to help protect those among us who are more vulnerable or have not been able to have their vaccines / boosters.

There is hand sanitiser available to use on the entrance to each church building.

Please respect the wishes of others in regards to physical distancing and contact, and remember others may feel differently than you do. Please follow advice from service leaders regarding moving around the building and how to exit.

Please don’t come if you are feeling unwell, showing signs of COVID or have been asked to self-isolate.

Please be aware that at this time our buildings may be chillier than normal as doors are left open for ventilation.

Please be aware that some of our services will be recorded or livestreamed. If you do not wish to be recorded, please speak to the service leader or a churchwarden who can advise you where to sit off camera.
